We had DJ ACRO who will be at the Ottawa Bluesfest on July 6th with a live drummer. Should be very interesting to see. He is at the Standard on Tuesday and Friday nights so check him out!
We had Maninder Virk, otherwise known as Nin, the marketing director at DNA Presents, the city’s largest promoter of electronic music productions.
We spoke about:
– how he got into electronic music at an early age
– in the past you basically had to drive to Toronto or Montreal every weekend to see these artists
– how he got in with DNA Presents and left working at the Department of Foreign Affairs
– Which electronic acts just love coming to Ottawa
