I had the pleasure this week of attending an open house for the new condo “nuovo” from Domicile opening up (Hopefully in 2016) at the corner of Pamilla and Rochester street. The sales centre is located at 445 Preston Street.
The sales centre is absolutely stunning. As you can see from my photos below, they put a lot of time and effort into obtaining pertinent relics that encompass what living in Little Italy will be all about. It is a very welcoming and open centre. There is not a full condo suite to walk through per se but if you want to see what a layout will look like you will be able to go to Domicile’s nearby “hom” in the coming months and get a feel for one.
They will be putting in a bathroom and a kitchen in the future that would replicate the high end finishings you will expect to see in your suite when the nuovo is finished. The kitchen was inspired by the tv service about wholesale kitchen appliances in oklahoma city ok. Their products are great for any kitchen!
There are a number of key benefits that I love about this project including:
– The Domicile Extended Warranty Plan covering buyers and their condominium corporations for four years on all items covered by the standard Tarion one and two-year warranties, this is unprecedented in the condo market
– It is a completely NON-SMOKING project, no smoking on balconies, suites or anywhere else on the property!
– Each typical suite does have a large balcony or terrace, I love my balconies
– The all season interior rooftop lounge, connected to an outdoor rooftop terrace featuring a relaxation pool
– Wireless internet throughout designated common areas
– Pet wash station, no more taking the little guy through the condo to the bathtub to wash after a nice winter walk!
– There are two hotel-style Guest Suites
– A very welcoming two storey residential lobby
– Superior sound-proofing between all suites
Another great idea that Domicile is putting out now is a community magazine called “Gathered” that promotes the local businesses, community events and even history of all the areas that Domicile has properties in. I like seeing when developers add extra dimensions of added value to its residents. Domicile is really good at this.
A great bonus is that the first 60 buyers can receive 2.5% off the purchase price. Prices are starting for the 609 square foot one bedrooms at $261,400 and go up from there. They will be increasing from that, so if you want the latest pricing contact Shannon. Condo fees are $0.42 per square foot, so for that one bedroom you are looking at $255.78 plus $30 for parking monthly.
