I do not want to take up too much of your time, but a quick bio is in order to get to know me a little more before you allow me the honor of working for you.

I am originally from Guelph, Ontario, a lovely little city in Southern Ontario. I came to Ottawa about 20 years ago to study Software Engineering at the University of Ottawa. I fell in love with this city and eventually graduated with an Honours degree in International Management. I was too outgoing and personable to continue in engineering with the sitting at a computer and debugging all day and night. Oh well, the business allowed me to travel to Ireland on exchange and travel across Europe the following summer. This led to my wonderment with Architecture and different cultures.

After graduation I worked for a short period, saving up a good deal of money so that I could take 2007 to work and live in Australia for half of it, then travel throughout Southeast Asia for the duration. I have stories abound, from rock climbing in the blue mountains, learning to surf, learning to Scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef then receiving my advanced certificate in Malaysia, to motorcycling throughout Vietnam, staying with hill tribes, almost being attacked by one of the most venomous snakes on the planet. I love adventure and meeting people from all parts of the planet. It truly is amazing, but my home and love is Ottawa, we are truly blessed here regardless of the small problems. Others definitely have it much worse.

After the travels I worked for a couple of the big banks taking in all of the lessons in superior customer service as well as always taking in courses towards my Certified Financial Planning designation. In the end I decided against becoming a financial advisor because of my love of real estate. I worked for over three years with two of the biggest financial institutions in Canada and gained as much knowledge as I needed to move on my own. It has been a great start and I hope to grow to be a leader in this industry in Ottawa.

Other passions that I describe me would be sports , music (have been a volunteer at the Ottawa Bluesfest for over 15 years), architecture and interior design, biking in Gatineau when it is warm out, beach volleyball, hanging out with a great group of friends and family.
