We met with the owner of the 67’s and the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, Jeff Hunt and discussed:
– Ottawa being the ideal balance for size of the city
– Jeff originally coming from Newfoundland

– The market is the fulcul point when he has friends and relative in town, either that or a sporting event.
– He doesn’t care for the NFL, only a CFL guy
– We go over how he came about being the owner of the Ottawa 67’s
– He almost left Ottawa to own a team in another league
– He bought the 67’s in 1998 and won the championship the same year
– How active he is as an owner
– We are hoping for a better 67’s team next year
