This week’s musical guest is Rishi who just recently launched his first EP, Leap of Faith. Download it HERE All proceeds are going to cancer research. Look for a lot more great rap and production from him coming to Ottawa and Canada in the future!

We sat with Warren Sutherland, one of the owners of The Smoque Shack on York street in the Byward Market in Ottawa. Such an interesting story from how this restaurant came about and a great tale of Canadian entrepreneurialism and what they have in store for us in the near future!

These are the things we touched on:
– How he came about living in Ottawa
– Sweetgrass Aboriginal Bistro, his first restaurant in Ottawa.
– His time in the United States
– The best barbeque truck in the States is in Sedona
– How Marlon and Warren know each other and the story of meeting Adam
– How the location came about
– We love that all their beers are local companies
– We talk about the what the SmoQue Shack is all about, the “best of meat” concept
– Slice, is the best of pizzas, Chicago Deep Dish, New York Style Pan Pizza Italian Handtossed and California thin crust with the toppings that appropriate for each
– Sandwiches include Muffaletta, the French Dip, the Reuben, the Cheesesteak, the Banh Mi.
– It will be open until 4am Thursday, Friday, Saturday
